GOOD ON YA! You are right on the mark. Art, music, and literature are so important to our children! The more predudices there are against those who devote thier lives to this passion, the more the Football-loving hardheaded administrations will want to cut these vital programs. The parents at my daughters' school had to fight tooth and nail to keep our art program and our kids ended up with ART Class only TWICE a month (for one hour each session.) Need I say how much PE they get?! PE is also important, but not MORE important. Seriously, my kids swim an hour and a half each day at swim team practice. I would much rather have them in ART!!! Keep up the great tirades!!
-Mom who loves ART!Jacqueline McDermotthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14219173682906526046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34379207.post-9480119218273394652007-10-06T07:30:00.000-07:002007-10-06T07:30:00.000-07:00Mrs. Anonymous is right! Here's a the link you need...Mrs. Anonymous is right!

Here's a the link you need for the local paper:

http://tinyurl.com/2lbqne

(My brother lives in Fox River Grove)

*edited to fix the linkScotthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15372988382777091920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34379207.post-87187055866468943392007-10-05T16:40:00.000-07:002007-10-05T16:40:00.000-07:00I'm "anonymous" because it's been so long since I'...I'm "anonymous" because it's been so long since I've written, I can't remember my password......duhAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34379207.post-18163998384919903582007-10-05T16:35:00.000-07:002007-10-05T16:35:00.000-07:00My dear Sean,The teachers who really do teach art ...My dear Sean,
The teachers who really do teach art could certainly use some validating, don't you think?
